Join us for a Perfectly Natural Vacation!
We invite you to join us on our ranch, a private, 720-acre wildlife management area and nature preserve, in the rolling aspen woodlands near Riding Mountain National Park.
If you want to escape the crowds, our ranch will fit the bill. We cater to individuals, couples and small groups so we can provide a personalized experience.
Wildlife viewing, ecology and wildlife photography are our specialties.
We have special blinds on our ranch where you can safely watch and photograph bears, beavers and other wildlife at close range.
In addition to wildlife viewing from our blinds, we will lead you on wildlife safaris to see elk, moose, bison, deer, beaver, coyotes, wolves, lynx, to mention a few, and on guided nature walks to provide a greater appreciation of the ecology of the animals and the ecosystems they live in.
Our ranch is a peaceful, friendly place where you can relax, make yourself at home and enjoy scrumptious home-cooked meals. Here, you can immerse yourself in nature and experience the thrills of seeing, photographing and learning about wildlife in their natural habitat. You can breath pure fresh air, awaken each morning to a virtually crime-free world, enjoy the silence, which is interrupted only by the sounds of nature, watch spectacular sunsets and dancing northern lights, and peer into limitless star-filled skies.
If you desire a private wildlife photography or wildlife viewing and natural history experience, we can offer you a private custom-guided tour complete with outfitting services for wildlife photography if you wish.
Our vacation packages at Riding Mountain are all-inclusive and we can also provide
you with transportation from and to the Winnipeg International Airport or
from other points in Winnipeg.
Also in 2009, we are hosting a full-featured photography workshop, instructed by Paul Burwell, contributing editor of Outdoor Photography Canada Magazine.
