Riding Mountain Guest Ranch BOOKING CONDITIONS and Agreement Please read and sign this agreement and send it with your registration form.
MAKING A BOOKING Reservations are accepted subject to space availability. If you have not tentatively booked space, please check with us first for availability before mailing this form. To secure a booking, Riding Mountain Guest Ranch or their Agent requires a completed copy of the registration form and a non-refundable 30% deposit. Please mail this registration form to us. Deposits can be paid on VISA or MasterCard . We will hold your space for fourteen days if you are mailing your deposit. The balance will be due 60 days prior to departure and should be paid by bank draft or cheque payable to Riding Mountain Guest Ranch. Any bookings not paid in full by the applicable date will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited. Bookings made within 60 days of departure must be accompanied by full payment. Goods and Serves Tax Canadian residents must add 5% GST (Goods and Services Tax) to the total tour price and non-Canadians residents must add 2.5% GST. This 2.5% tax is the non-refundable portion of the GST and no tax refund can be claimed. Amendments and Cancellation By the client No refunds will be allowed for absenteeism or unused portions of the tour. If there is a cancellation by the client, monies will be refunded, based on the total tour price, as follows: 61 days prior to arrival: 70% 60 - 46 days prior to arrival: 50% 45 days or later there will be no refund Insurance It is strongly recommend that all clients purchase Medical Insurance and Cancellation Insurance. Amendments or cancellations by the Company If the client does not pay the balance of the tour price due by 60 days before the departure date, Riding Mountain Guest Ranch reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled, and levy cancellation charges. Riding Mountain Guest Ranch reserves the right to modify the order of events in the itinerary and to substitute components of a tour with those of a better or comparable standard. Every effort will be made to operate all tours as advertised. In the event that any modifications are required due to the actions of a supplier, Riding Mountain Guest Ranch will use its’ best endeavours to provide alternate arrangements of a better or comparable standard. Riding Mountain Guest Ranch reserves the right to cancel any tour and will make a full and prompt refund of all monies paid to it by the client. Riding Mountain Guest Ranch will then have no further liability to the client or expense, direct or calculated. Responsibilities of the Company and the Client Riding Mountain Guest Ranch will apply all reasonable checks to ensure that those involved in the preparation and provision of your tour maintain the appropriate standards and makes every effort to operate each tour as advertised. Riding Mountain Guest Ranch cannot be held responsible for events that must be cancelled or changed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its’ control, such as weather, political acts, mechanical failures, actions of suppliers or logistical decisions made by the tour leader or guides in the interest of safety for the participants. No refunds will be made for such necessary alterations to the tour itinerary. The client will be responsible for any extra expenses incurred because of weather/logistical delays or delayed departures of aircraft. Riding Mountain Guest Ranch or their agents or contractors will not assume liability for any missed connection, lost or stolen baggage, medical costs incurred, improper documentation or failure of a client to observe necessary check-in times. The client is responsible for taking out all the necessary personal insurance including travel medical and baggage insurance. Any passports, visas, driving licences or other travel documentation required for the holiday must be obtained by the client, whose responsibility it remains to ensure that these are in order and to meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements. The client is responsible for notifying Riding Mountain Guest Ranch of any pre-existing medical condition. Due to the inherent unpredictable behaviour of free-roaming wildlife and the unpredictability of natural factors, which can affect wildlife behaviour, Riding Mountain Guest Ranch cannot guarantee that a client will be able to see or photograph any specific wildlife species during this tour. Assumption of Risks by the Client The client understand that participating in an adventure tour may expose him/her to risks of accident or illness, including the risk of weather, parasitic or infectious diseases, unforeseen stressful situations, injury to my person or equipment by either humans, wildlife or conveyances such as automobiles, buses, trains, airplane, boats, sledges drawn by dogs or snowmobiles, horses, horse-drawn wagons and other vehicles, or by walking or climbing and consequently falling due to slippery or uneven surfaces or unforeseen obstacles, and other risk without limitation by way of example, and that timely and quality medical treatment may not be available. As a participant on this tour, the client freely accepts and fully assumes all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage and loss resulting there from. COMPLAINTS This contract and these conditions shall be governed and interpreted in all respects in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada, and any litigation involving the parties in the contract shall be brought within the Province of Manitoba, Canada.Should the unlikely situation arise that you have a complaint about any aspect of the tour; the complaint should be reported immediately to us in order that we may be given the opportunity to correct the matter during your holiday.Please, initial each 'Booking Conditions and Agreement' page and send them with your registration form.
