Community Portal Services are special accounts to enable your organization to create and manage databases for your organization, including Administrative control over the accounts of your membership through a private secure portal on the TCRC website. These services also include permission to share the TCRC database of your members' accounts, ie. listings data.
Benefits
Permission to Share the TCRC Database Provides your organization with permission to share the TCRC database of your members' accounts. This will enable your organization to utilize your members' TCRC listings information on your organization's personal website, whether the website is hosted by TCRC or another Internet Service Provider. In the later case, web objects will be provided by TCRC that will enable you to display dynamic data pages on your website.
Secure Online Portal Provides your organization with a private secure online portal for creating and managing databases for your organization and includes a special portal for your membership.
Administrative Control Provides your organization with administrative control over the accounts of your membership on the TCRC website
Private Membership Accounts Provides your membership with a private accounts to enable them to submit custom data for private use by your organization. For example, if extra data fields, in addition to the data collected in the regular TCRC listings, are required for your website or administrative functions, custom information submission forms can be accessed and submitted by your members' online accounts.
Administer Your Organization's Membership Online Enables your organization to administer its' membership online, including enabling members to renew their memberships and new members to sign up and join your organization online.
Update Your Website Online without Webmaster Fees Enables account administrators to enter custom data through custom information submission forms and this information can be used to maintain your organization's website. This means your organization can update your website online, without paying expensive webmaster fees whenever you need to update announcements, your membership or your members' listings information.
Posting and Sharing Private Information Over a Secure Site Enables account administrators to enter custom data through custom information submission forms or discussion group portals and this information can be used for special secure administrative needs. These enable your organization to post and share information over a secure site without the security risks of email. Only your membership or a designated portion of your membership, such as your Board, could access posted information, such as, minutes of meetings, finacial reports or take part in online business discussions.
Online Bookkeeping Services through the secure portal? I'm sure we could include an online server side application for these services but it would be very expensive to develop the application from scratch. Are you aware of any ready-made application modules that might meet an organization's needs? |
