Pages of Listings returned to the client should be simple, concise, uncluttered and pictures restricted to thumbnails, which can be expanded if client clicks on them. Silver and Gold listings would be the largest and would display the same.

Colour Coding - I suggest we come up with a standardized colour coding that helps the website visitor easily associate and carryout the functions offered in the listings. In this example page, I am use the following:

Description of Buttons and Form Fields
Show Location of All - this would produce a map showing the locations of all the returning listings. The visitor would have the choice of printing this map or printing the map with a list of information that would include each businesses' contact, season and business hours informationthis button would produce a map in a new Window with the locations noted by ID numbers
S285 -ID number which would display on the Show Location of All map. Using the letter prefix with 3 digits gives us 26,000 unique CP identities for Manitoba that are not too long and complicated for visitors to use on the
Show Location of All maps.
Business Name - self explanatory
Location - opens new pop-up type Window in top right corner with a map of content providers location, example. This page includes the businesses contact information, text description of driving directions and a button which allows the web visitor to print out the map with this text information
Description -- max. 365 characters including spaces – approx. 50 words.
Contact info - owners names, mailing address, phone numbers, fax, email, business hours and season of operation information.
Details - a separate webpage which would include all the CP's info. Example This button would only be available for Silver, Gold and Platinum Listings and would open in a new window. This page would have a Print This Page button.
Website - direct link to content-providers website which would open in new Window. If no website, button would not show. For Gold and Platinum Listings, the link would default to CP's Website hosted by TCRC.. From that site, CPs can easily link any other websites they wish.
Quality - link to Affiliations and standards. If no standards, button would read Not Rated .
Email Allows the visitor to directly email the content provider and allows TCRC to track and gather interest statistics. Example For this reason all CPs email address links should use this application.
Add to Trip Planner -This would add the Content Provider's data to the client's trip-planner 'cart'. Available only for Silver, Gold and Platinum Listings .
Compare - this would add the businesses' data to a 'shopping cart' type of application that successively adds and returns the respective information to a single page in table form to allow easy comparisons. (see Side by Side on www.dpreview.com for an example of a returning comparison table). This function would be very helpful to the customer but would require developing specific database fields for things like services, amenities, facilities for the various types of business listings. It might not be practical for all types of listing, i.e. those in travel services but where suitable, it would be another great, value-added selling feature for the Silver, Gold and Platinum Listings .
