Support a pro-active organization dedicated to developing and sustaining Canadian rural communities by fostering and sustaining a strong world-class rural tourism industry in Canada.

 

Participate in the Annual General Meeting

 

Receive the TCRC newsletter and keep in touch with the ongoing activities of the organization and the rural tourism industry.

 

Receive access to the TCRC informative industry information site. (topics?)

 

Attend industry workshops.

 

Membership By-laws of the TCRC

            1.  Classes of membership:

                        1.1  membership shall be open to any individual, business or organization actively involved in the development of rural tourism

                        1.2  each membership is entitled to one vote

                        1.3  each membership shall be personal to the holder thereof and shall not be transferable or assignable by the holder

            2.  Termination of membership:

                        2.1  a member may withdraw by giving notice in writing to the board

            2.2  a member may be expelled from the corporation upon recommendation from the board by a two-thirds majority vote of the board and the  member recommended for expulsion shall have the opportunity to address the meeting of the board at which his expulsion is to be voted on

            3.  Voting:

                        3.1  each individual member is entitled to one vote

                        3.2  each organizational member is entitled to one vote

                        3.3  no person may represent more than one organization and a             representative for an organization is not entitled to vote as an individual.

  • Rural Organizations ($25?/year)

Note: Silver and Gold Website Accounts include membership charges but membership application form must be submitted.

 

Associate Membership

  • Individuals  ($50?/year)

  • Institutions ($100?/year)

  • Life-time Associate Membership $1000

Please Note: Annual membership fees can be credited towards the costs of listing packages. If you wish to place a listing on this website, your TCRC membership will be automatically included at no additional charge.
